The Election Commission of Sri Lanka released the new allocations of parliamentary seats for the 22 electoral districts at the General Election 2024.
According to the new allocations, Colombo and Vanni districts have lost one seat each, and are now allocated 18 and 6 seats respectively. However, Gampaha and Kalutara districts have gained one seat, resulting in Gampaha district being allocated 19 seats and Kalutara district allocated 15 seats.
There are no changes for the seat allocations of the remaining 18 electoral districts.
