Invites public to contribute information and ideas to make it a success.
Today (14 July 2025) Manthri.lk, a platform of Verité Research, announced the launch of Anura Meter, an online tracker that monitors the progress of selected promises made in the 2024 presidential election manifesto of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The 22 promises selected for tracking focus on proposals considered to be of high public interest and important in relation to economic reforms, governance, anti-corruption, law and order, and social protection.
Information to update the Anura Meter is drawn from three sources:
1) What is found in published sources,
2) Responses received to RTI requests, and
3) Credible information provided by users.
Users are invited to contribute with ideas and information by visiting the Anura Meter on the Manthri.lk page.
The platform is a best-effort initiative by Verité Research to improve information sharing and democratic engagement. Anura Meter is maintained in all three Sri Lankan languages (Sinhala, Tamil, and English) to ensure broad accessibility.
